Matching will be run shortly after the close of signups, so please ensure you check the email address associated with your AO3 account as I will be emailing unmatchable participants at that time.

Signups for the Madness Collection will remain open until the reveals date (July 2nd 9am UTC).

Signups for the main collection may be over, but there is still plenty of time left to sign up for Little Black Dress Madness! Little Black Dress Madness is the companion prompt meme to the LBD Main Collection. This prompt fest is perfect if you'd like to participate in the exchange but missed signups, don't have enough eligible requests to sign up (or maybe you had too many!), or you would prefer not to take on an assignment at the moment. LBD Madness signups will close on July 6th, so there's plenty of time to get your requests in. For more information, see here.

The LBD Madness collection uses the same tagset as the main one, so there are already a lot of LBDs to choose from. However if you missed nominations or have since discovered a new LBD, then you are welcome to add them to the newly reopened tagset and I will approve them. Note that I will be checking nominations less frequently than during the official nomination period, so please don't hesitate to drop me a comment indicating that you've submitted new noms.

Finally, as a reminder, there are still eight initial pinch hits up for grabs! Thank you to those who have already claimed a pinch hit.

Signups have closed! We have run preliminary matching and there are currently two participants who are unmatchable. This means that none of their offers match anybody's requests, and they don't have any potential recipients. If your username starts with a T or an S, please check the email address associated with your AO3 account. We are giving these participants 24 hours to add to their offers, otherwise their signups will be deleted.

Even though the main collection has closed, Little Black Dress Madness will remain open until works reveals on July 17th. The tagset has also reopened should you wish to nominate additional characters for Madness. Mods will be checking new nominations less frequently than in the first nomination period, so if you find your nomination is lingering, please don't hesitate to leave us a comment or email us to approve it.

We're less than a day into signups and we're so excited to see how many people have already signed up! We also now have a letters post for anyone wanting to share their own letter or browse others'.

We'd like to take this moment remind everyone that if you have already signed up or are planning to, please read the signup guidelines even if you regularly participate in exchanges.

In particular, we've noticed this part is being overlooked by many participants:

IMPORTANT: Characters should only be in the same request or offer if you are requesting/offering the same relationship for all of them. For example, if you are requesting Tony Stark and Steve Rodgers for MCU and you are hoping to receive a M/M, M/M/M or M/F fanwork for both of them, then they may be requested together. However if you also wish to request Natasha Romanoff for whom you would like F/F or F/Other, you should make a separate MCU request for her.

This is essential as it will affect matching. For instance, if I requested Harry Potter and Hermione Granger with the categories M/M and M/F, and someone else offers Draco Malfoy and Hermione Granger with the categories M/M and F/F, they could match on Hermione Granger + M/M, but may be unwilling to write her in an M/F pairing. This is why it is essential to separate these requests for both requests and offers.

Please keep this in mind when signing up, and if you've already signed up, then please review your signup to ensure everything is correct. A number of participants have made this error, but we would prefer to give you a couple of days to correct this before we start emailing participants. Please note that while we will be reviewing signups, the canon gender of the requested character is not always clear just from their name, so we appreciate your cooperation here.

Note on Rule 63: if you are opting into Rule 63 versions, please do not indicate this in the relationship category, rather state this in your optional details. For example, if I am requesting Harry Potter with M/M and I'm opting into Rule 63, I shouldn't also request F/F.

Note on Offering "Any": It causes no problems to offer any, for pairings, category, or both. This shouldn't cause any problems with matching. But it is very important you actually click the "any" button as opposed to putting all the options in, because it looks different to us on the backend and it will be more of a headache for us to confirm that matching will still be fine.
