lbdmodThis post is designed to solicit feedback from participants so we can improve for future rounds. We've compiled a short google form here for you to fill out if you're so inclined, or else you're welcome you comment here (anon commenting is on) or email us at littleblackdressexchange@gmail.com. Below are some of the changes we are considering implementing:
Relationship Categories
Some participants encountered errors during the signup process as they submitted relationship categories that were incongruent with their requested/offered character (e.g. requesting a male character F/F). To minimise this, we will be revising these freeforms so they are of the format LBD/F, LBD/M, LBD/M/M, etc. This will still necessitate repeat requests for fandoms in some cases, but it should simplify the process significantly.
Clarity Regarding Opt-ins, Nomination Process, and General Rules
Provide a comprehensive list regarding what's considered opt-in and opt-out for this exchange (this will be the same as for the previous round and include things like crossovers, unrequested gender configurations, selfcest, etc.) as well as provide definitions on what this means for those who have not encountered this terminology before. Revise rules post so all the information (including that related to the nomination process) is all in one place.
Edit for clarity: we're not actually proposing a change to our current opt-in/opt-out system, but rather just listing our current opt-in/opt-outs in one place for easy reference.
Little Black Dress Madness
Invite participants who participate in the Madness Collection to also add their gift to the main collection so it's not overlooked (shout-out to the nonny who suggested this!).
Little Black Dress Flash Exchange
There has been talk of a flash exchange which will potentially run later this year, and the mods have received an expression of interest from someone who hopes to run it. A LBD flash exchange would take the same concept of the regular exchange, except it would run to a shorter schedule. Stay tuned for a post about this in the coming months!
