Despite his numerous fuck-ups, I've always had a soft spot for Jowan, and I'd love to see him either with someone who helps him make better choices, or someone who's as much of a disaster as he is. I really enjoy reading about magic and its many possible uses in this setting, and with Jowan that includes blood magic - does his partner support his use of blood magic, or is it a point of conflict between them? Or does he attempt to keep it secret from them? One of the things I liked about Jowan was how willing he was to try to make amends at Redcliffe, even volunteering himself to go into the Fade (when he was clearly afraid of the Harrowing ritual!), and it'd be great to see more of that side of his character.
Zevran
Antivan Crow lore would be amazing here, even if it's just a morsel! Or anything to do with Antiva in general, whether they're actually there or sharing stories of Zevran's homeland. I really like how Zevran subverts a lot of the assumptions about elves and elven culture in this game, having no attachment to the forest or the Dalish, and preferring to be in the city. That could be really interesting to explore, especially if he's paired with an elfier elf. I'm as up for reading casual hookups as I am for anything more long-term, and I also love pre-relationship pining and/or flirting between characters, so you really can't go wrong!

Since season 1 is currently ongoing: I'm fine with spoilers and will be up to date at the time of reveals, but I'm also fine with canon divergence, or anything set during TCW era!
I enjoyed that while Crosshair wasn't especially likeable when he was introduced, we still glimpsed a few of his good qualities, like his sibling rivalry and banter with Wrecker, and his willingness to prioritise the safety of the villagers and his squad on Skako Minor over just completing the mission. I'd love anything either showcasing these traits or contrasting them with his post-Order 66 (and chip amplification) behaviour.
In terms of relationships, I'd be really happy to see Crosshair with someone who cares about and supports him as he tries to break free of the inhibitor chip's influence or tries to recover after its removal. But if you'd like to go down a darker route, I'd also be here for him engaging in unhealthy, self-destructive behaviour and relationships. In this instance, elements of dubious consent due to Imperial hierarchy, power imbalances etc. are welcome.

I'm a fan of every movie in this ridiculous action-packed gritty space universe, from the striking settings to certain characters' badass everything to the whole mythology we barely get glimpses of with Furyans and Necromongers and Elementals and so on. I will always want more fic for this fandom. Particularly, this time, Dahl.
I did enjoy her interactions with Riddick and Boss Johns, so feel free to include them (or any other characters from the series!); but I do take her at her word about not fucking guys. I'm good with OCs or crossover characters as pairings in this canon in particular - I'd love to see some of Dahl's downtime between jobs, or maybe with a new crewmate after the losses in the 2013 movie. But I also think Kyra/Dahl or Fry/Dahl would be fun, in some divergence AU where either one survives canon events or things happen differently.
Canon levels of dark humor, violence, and brutal pragmatism are just fine for this canon. I'm a big fan of Jane Austen and just about every adaptation of her work I've seen; this one's no exception. I love the snarkiness of the main characters, Lady Susan's scheming and determination to achieve her goals whatever obstacles she might run into along the way; the fact that she doesn't always win yet still more or less achieves the life she wants anyway. She's just a delight.
One thing I've kind of always wanted is another take on that hasty marriage at the end. Fleshing any of it out in a cheerful way would be neat; or perhaps Sir James isn't quite as dumb as he appears, and he and Susan and Lord Manwaring are all actually together? Or perhaps Susan achieves the life she wants a different way with different partner(s)! A 'companion' with independent income, or an extension of her warm friendship with Mrs. Johnson, or perhaps one of the other characters or pairings from any of the Austen novels gets swept off their feet by her determined charm, whether she's in love with them or just their money. Or she gets genuinely swept off her feet by someone else, who luckily can support her in the style and passion to which she is accustomed!
I strongly DNW non-Regency type AUs for this, but some kind of tropey take (soulmates, etc.) could add to the comedy of errors feel of the canon here. Generally, I just want Lady Susan to continue being her awesome self, happily-scheming-ever-after.

I love Shen Jiu so much, both the flattened-evil version of him that SQH adjusted to his fans' preferences in PIDW and the complex, traumatized version of the character that SQH originally outlined, whose history we only get glimpses of. I love how he hates himself, how he's disgusted by his own impulses and desires, how he isn't ashamed of being hard but is ashamed of how he became hardened. I love that Shen Jiu seems to feel safe around women and afraid of men and men's sexuality. I feel so strongly that he saw and experienced rape by men and feels disturbed by his own sexual desires-- you don't have to incorporate that, but for me it fits very well and I JUST WANT MORE OF HIS DELICIOUS, BEAUTIFUL SUFFERING PLEASE. Make him feel love and be uncomfortable with his own vulnerable want and need and resentment for being forced to care about other people, or make him afraid and ashamed -- whatever strikes your fancy.
• Luo Binghe, any version of him, peeling away the layers of awful Shen Jiu puts between himself and anyone he wants
• Liu Qingge, drawn to and disturbed by Shen Jiu just as readily as Shen Jiu is desirous and resentful of him and their struggle for a balance (or imbalance, LBR about Shen Jiu's preferences LOL) of power and respect in whatever relationship they have
• Yue Qingyuan, devoted to Shen Jiu and equally self-loathing, to the point where they don't feel they deserve to be together no matter how much they want to, so every falling-into-one-another's-arms feels like failure or weakness

How goes the rebuilding of the school after the events of the anime? What about battles with the Huge? Maybe during a mission exploring the ruins or fighting a Huge Riri and another Lily are trapped together, leading to some romantic tension? After all, being a Lily is rather dangerous, so there's plenty of hurt/comfort potential here.

Or, maybe romance begins to blossom after the true ending, when she's able to rejoin her companion as they explore the world outside the Red Mist.

Just how would any romance develop between Akari and another Elemental Tarot when they're constantly fighting Daemonia? What would the future hold for any such romantic relationship? What if she and another were trapped in the Astralux together? How would Akari confess that she's half-Daemonia? Or, what if she began to transform into a Daemonia-hybrid and her girlfriend had to rescue her?

* Yanase Mai: Nothing is better than girls with swords, and of these sword-wielding maidens, Mai is my favorite. After the events of the anime, when she's training new Toji, how does she find time for romance? Does an aradama-hunting mission go wrong, leading to some hurt/comfort and realization of romantic feelings? Even with utsushi, the life of a Toji is still dangerous, so it'd be interesting to explore the violence of aradama missions and how the girls support each other. Or, for something lighter, how would Mai introduce her girlfriend to her younger sisters?

Dislikes/DNWs: animal death, ants, child abuse (but canon or canon compliant references to abuse are fine — just nothing super graphic please; I will try and be more specific in canons where this applies), abortion, eye trauma, situations where disabled people are in danger to get their loved ones to do something, destruction of a person's things, drowning (in the request where it's canon, it's okay if they get pulled out before they die)
